A visit from MP Catherine King to HWS office on 20th February 2012 confirmed that this funding is part of the Government’s
commitment to back original inventions and products and will support Health-e Workforce Solution’s development of it’s
‘Predictive Modeller’.
On the 3rd February Minister Combet (Minister for Industry and Innovation) announced the latest funding offers from Commercialisation Australia.
We achieved a substantial grant to build a
Predictive Modeller - An Innovative Workforce Knowledge System. The
'predictive modeller' will integrate with existing HRM software to enable hospitals to build virtual organisations of the future populated with real staff from today. It will enable clients to model a myriad of workforce scenarios in search of the most cost efficient staffing model.

Corporation, Queensland Health and the Queensland Children’s
Hospital Development to model Queensland paediatric workforce.
Data collection was undertaken at the Royal Children’s Hospital,
the Mater Children’s Hospital, the Prince Charles Hospital and
Southside Child Community Health Services.
Health-e Workforce Solutions created a "Virtual" Children’s Hospital in order to assist in the workforce design process for the future hospital. Now established, this virtual Queensland Children’s Hospital is used to calculate the EFT requirements and subsequent costs associated with an infinite number of staffing model variations and/or ward configurations.

Health-e Workforce Solutions contracted by the Victorian Department of Health (DoH) and the Victorian Hospitals Industrial Association (VHIA) to conduct a Nursing Workforce Profiling exercise across 16 hospitals. Health-e Workforce Solutions software products were used to provide accurate workforce modelling and costing leading into the 2007/08 nursing enterprise bargaining process.
